Leader at Get Together (Volunteer)

I began and led Get Together with my wife, Katie, and a team of friends at Christ Church Roxeth. Originally a mission-shaped community, it almost developed into a church of its own before we felt God calling us elsewhere.

Get Together was a simple, meal-based outreach aimed at the urban working class, especially those with mild learning difficulties or chaotic personal lives. Attendees found food, fun, friendship, and most importantly, love, acceptance, and a sense of community that the world couldn’t offer.

We regularly served over 40 people, most of whom were unchurched, incorporating worship, prayer, and Bible study into the weekly program
